Having digestive issues?
“It is the choice of foods by each individual person, today, that will determine to a large extent of their physical condition tomorrow.” –Dr. Royal Lee
Do you suffer from frequent stomach cramps, constipation, bloating, or diarrhea? Are you constantly chewing on Tums or other antacids?
It may be from what you’re putting your body.
The digestive track is what allows our body to absorb what we’re putting in, and ideally when it’s working correctly results in energy and vitality.
Unfortunately in this day and age, we have inherited poor nutritional habits. Fast food joints on every block, sugar filled coffee shops on every corner, food companies cutting corners by over processing and using chemicals and additives. Not to mention certain medications, antibiotics, and alcohol use can lead to unhappy guts.
Over time, our body slowly accumulates these pollutants or toxins, and can result in inflammation, headaches, fatigue, and digestive issues.
Have you ever paid attention to what you put in your body? Try making a food journal for a week or two. Make notes of how the food makes you feel. Maybe you felt a burst of energy, or maybe tired and sluggish. You might find a common pattern and be able to pinpoint what it might be making you feel that way.
We also offer many nutritional dietary programs that can help detox, clear, and repair your intestines. Some require an “elimination diet” where certain foods are eliminated from your daily diet. We also have food/mold/environmental chemical blood tests that will tell you exactly what your body is sensitive to.
Consult with one of our doctors today to find out more information on these programs that may give you the answers you’re looking for!
Another helpful tip, don’t forget to drink more water! It’s responsible for the transport of nutrients, oxygen, and waste products, as well as regulating your body temperature.
What you eat today, will impact how you live tomorrow!
Yours in health,
